Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) / Platelet Rich Fibrin (PRF) Procedures
What is Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP)?
Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy is a revolutionary treatment that utilizes the body's own healing mechanisms to promote tissue regeneration and repair. PRP is derived from the patient's own blood, which is processed to concentrate the platelets and growth factors. When injected into targeted areas, such as the skin or face, breast or vaginal area, PRP stimulates the production of collagen and elastin, leading to improved skin texture, tightening & collagen production. This minimally invasive procedure has gained popularity in cosmetic dermatology and hair restoration for its natural and effective results.
What are the benefits of PRP/PRF treatments?
Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy is a non-surgical procedure that harnesses the healing power of a patient's own blood to stimulate natural tissue regeneration. By isolating the platelet-rich plasma and injecting it into targeted areas, PRP treatments can effectively promote hair growth, improve skin texture and tone, and accelerate the body's natural healing process.
At Premier Medspa, our expertly trained practitioners tailor PRP treatments to meet each patient's unique needs, offering a safe and natural alternative for rejuvenation and restoration. Experience the benefits of PRP therapy and unlock your body's inherent ability to heal and regenerate, revealing a more radiant and revitalized you.
Common benefits of the treatments include —
Reducing fine lines and wrinkles
Skin tightening
Collagen rejuvenation & volume enhancement
Healing of acne scarring
Lifting & tightening of tissue
What to expect during your treatment.
When you first arrive, our licensed practitioners will draw a small amount of blood from your arm. The blood will be placed in a centrifuge to separate the plasma from the other cells. The platelet rich plasma is then injected or applied using microneedling to the desired treatment area.

During a PRP breast rejuvination, your provider will take a blood sample, usually from your arm. They’ll spin the blood in a centrifuge machine to separate the PRP. Your provider will apply a numbing cream to your breasts to decrease your sensitivity during the procedure. Then they use a thin needle to inject PRP into areas throughout your breasts.People may opt for a PRP breast lift if a surgical breast lift isn’t yet warranted. The goal is:
Increases elastin (a protein that allows tissue to stretch).
Promotes growth of collagen (a protein that provides structure to your body).
Stimulates new cell growth.
A PRP breast lift may help to:
Improve skin texture and tone.
Make your breasts look lifted and fuller.
Reduce the look of wrinkles, stretch marks and scars.

The PRP Facelift combines the application of platelet-rich plasma with hyaluronic acid-based dermal fillers. Once the dermal fillers are administered, we’ll then begin the PRP treatment. This treatment begins with a blood draw. Your blood will then be placed into a sterilized centrifuge, which is a device that will spin the blood rapidly for a set period to separate the plasma from the PRP. Once isolated, we’ll inject the platelet-rich plasma into the skin in startegic areas to diminish the signs of aging.

The growth factors & proteins released by the high concentration of platelets in PRP activate stems cells and stimulate cellular repair and regeneration. Collagen production and the formation of new blood vessels occurs to further aid in tissue repair. In this procedure, PRP regenerates the vaginal tissue. The PRP Vaginal Rejuvenation procedure works by using PRP to stimulate stem cells to grow healthier vaginal tissue. The whole procedure for processing the blood and injecting the growth factors takes about 60 minutes in the office. You may resume sexual activity about 4 hours after the procedure. An increase in sexual response may be seen within days. There is no actual downtime with this procedure. Patients may experience light spotting from the injection points and possible mild soreness. Full results are best noted at approximately 3 months post procedure.

Collagen production and the formation of new blood vessels occurs to further aid in tissue repair. In this procedure, PRP regenerates the area injected. The PRP procedure works by using PRP to stimulate stem cells to grow healthier, more vibrant tissue. The whole procedure for processing the blood and injecting the plsma takes about 60 minutes in the office. We often recommend a series of at least 3 trestments spaced 4-6 weeks apart for best results.

The basic process begins with a technician drawing whole blood and then using a centrifuge to separate out the red cells. The remaining platelet-rich plasma is what’s used in the facial process.
Simply put, a PRP facial uses your own blood’s platelets and plasma on your face. The natural chemicals in your own PRP are slathered onto your face and then micro-needled into the skin during a short procedure. Once the plasma is in, it begins to do its work of rejuvenating your entire face, tightening wrinkled areas, and smoothing the overall look. It’s able to do that because PRP’s essential chemical components stimulate collagen growth.
Some people opt to have just one facial while others undergo a regular series of procedures. The more often you have a PRP facial, the longer the results of each treatment will last, which is about three to six months. The entire process takes about an hour. Downtime is less than that of regular microneedling. Expect 1-2 days of mild redness and avoid makeup for at least 48 hrs
